Since 2014, Morocco Way has been showing travellers the country that Marrakchis know and love — through the eyes of people who were born here, live here, and care deeply about this place.
Morocco Way was founded in 2014 by Hakim Nasiri, a Marrakech-born tourism professional who saw a gap between what Morocco's mass-market tours offered and what the country truly was: an extraordinary, layered, living place that rewarded those who went deeper.
The timing was deliberate. Morocco had just launched its ambitious Vision 2020 national tourism strategy — a government-backed programme to professionalise the industry, elevate service standards, and create pathways for a new generation of Moroccan tourism entrepreneurs to build world-class private travel businesses rooted in local knowledge and genuine hospitality.
Hakim built Morocco Way within this framework — licensed, certified, and committed to the principle that the best guide is a local one. Not a guide reading from a script, but someone who knows which baker in the medina fires his oven at 6am, which mountain road opens first after snowfall, which desert camp sits far enough from the highway to be truly silent at night.
What started as a small private guiding operation in the medina of Marrakech is now 79 expert guides deployed across every region of Morocco, a network of 360 hand-picked local suppliers, and a small dedicated operations team in Marrakech — from riad owners and Saharan camp hosts to mountain drivers and artisan workshops — all chosen because they share the same belief: that travel done right changes something in a person.

Our operations team of 12 professionals in Marrakech coordinates every detail — reservations, logistics, guide assignments, accommodation, and 24/7 WhatsApp support — so that the only thing you need to think about is which direction to look first.
Every Morocco Way guide is licensed by Morocco's Ministry of Tourism, multilingual, and selected for one quality above all others: genuine passion for their country.
We look for guides who can explain the geometry of a zellige tile and the 11th-century trade routes that brought the copper to make it — not because they memorised a paragraph, but because they find it genuinely fascinating. That curiosity is contagious. It's what turns a trip into a memory.
